How this happened

Manly --

I'm about to head to Grant Park to talk to everyone gathered there, but I wanted to write to you first.

We just made history.

And I don't want you to forget how we did it.

You made history every single day during this campaign -- every day you knocked on doors, made a donation, or talked to your family, friends, and neighbors about why you believe it's time for change.

I want to thank all of you who gave your time, talent, and passion to this campaign.

We have a lot of work to do to get our country back on track, and I'll be in touch soon about what comes next.

But I want to be very clear about one thing...

All of this happened because of you.

Thank you,

Barack

Michelle Obama. 1st Lady Heart Felt Speech at the Convention in Denver.

Dear Manly,

On Thursday night, Barack Obama will accept the Democratic nomination with the support of more than 75,000 people in Denver and millions more watching from home.

Lots of folks in Florida are just tuning into the political process, and they'll want to know more about Barack.

That's why we need to seize this opportunity to register and mobilize as many people as possible.

This weekend, supporters like you are coming together at Weekend of Action events to launch a statewide voter registration and mobilization drive. Join us and help bring new voices into this movement for change.

Find a Weekend of Action event near you and join us this weekend.

The last eight years have been devastating for families in Florida, and we can't afford another four years of Bush-McCain policies.

Barack Obama and Joe Biden can bring the change we need to transform our politics, but only if new voters get involved in the political process.

You can make a difference in your community by taking part in a Weekend of Action event near you to register and mobilize voters.

No previous experience is required. Our staff will provide you with everything you need, every step of the way.

Sign up now to help Floridians make their voices heard:

We can't do this without you.

Thanks,

Angela
